Job summary

Amentum is a global engineering and technology leader seeking a Vice President of Finance Excellence and Transformation to drive an enterprise-wide, technology-centric finance transformation. The role emphasizes a multi-year roadmap, data governance, and integration across H2R, P2P, O2C and R2R processes.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Finance, the candidate should bring 12–15+ years in finance, strong executive communication, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically 12–15+ years in Finance, Program Finance, or Financial Operations with at least 5 years leading enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• US Citizenship is required to apply.
• Proven track record leading finance teams and post-M&A financial integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop transformation vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to strategy.
• Engage CFO leadership and stakeholders to secure buy-in and support.
• Lead enterprise-wide finance transformation program end-to-end.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, external consultants, and technology vendors.
• Define KPIs and monitor program performance; adapt as needed.
• Drive H2R, P2P, O2C, and R2R process improvements.
