Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Director of Finance Transformation to lead enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives, partnering with executive leadership to set vision and roadmap. You will oversee programs spanning People & Change, Process Change, and Technology Enablement across the global Finance organization, guiding risk management, governance, and execution with cross-functional teams and external partners.

You will drive reporting, dashboards, and metrics for the Transformation Steering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial systems and processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills and ability to influence individuals significantly senior to self.
• Experience interacting independently with senior leadership on strategic, tactical and confidential issues with immediate and long-term business impacts.
• Demonstrated project management ability of multiple simultaneous projects with many moving pieces.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Advanced analytical and process diagnostic skills and the ability to dive into details while driving the big-picture objectives.
• Comfortable with data, metrics, and dashboards to drive decisions.
• Conflict resolution capabilities in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to deliver feedback and recognize strong performance.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and strategy for Finance Transformation programs across the global Finance organization.
• Lead governance, decision-making, and measurement for transformation initiatives.
• Develop clear communication and reporting strategies for executive sponsors and delivery teams.
• Mentor and develop talent across the organization and ensure adoption of new processes and tools.
