L.A. Care is seeking a Senior Manager of Vendor Contract and Performance Management in Los Angeles, CA. The role leads complex provider and vendor relationships, overseeing contract strategy, negotiations, onboarding, and ongoing performance management to ensure timely claims, payments, and issue resolution.

The position requires extensive leadership experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across departments within the Health Plan.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience managing complex provider/vendor relationships within managed care.
• At least 5 years of experience leading staff or people management.
• Experience in contract negotiations, implementation, onboarding, and ongoing account management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive stewardship of a portfolio of complex provider, vendor, or health plan relationships.
• Oversee contract negotiations, execution, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
• Drive performance improvements, claims resolution, and dispute management across accounts.
• Develop tailored account management strategies and coordinate cross-departmental activities.
