Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan, a public agency serving Los Angeles County, seeks a Senior Manager of Vendor Contract and Performance Management to oversee complex provider and vendor relationships, contract negotiation, and ongoing performance management.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop account strategies, drive operational excellence, and ensure timely claims and payments while managing budgets and departmental programs. Travel to offsite locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Related Field; equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
• At least 7 years of experience managing complex provider, vendor, or health plan relationships within managed care.
• At least 5 years of experience leading staff or people management.
• Experience in contract negotiations, implementation, onboarding, and ongoing account management.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations and manage provider and partner performance.
• Oversee onboarding, implementation, and ongoing account management.
• Develop tailored account management strategies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor claims, payments, and dispute resolution.
