Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Manager, Provider Relations and Performance Management to drive provider engagement and performance oversight.

You will develop tailored account strategies, lead joint operating and performance review meetings, and deliver a differentiated provider experience focused on processes and relationship priorities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master’s preferred
• 7+ years in provider relations, account management, and performance oversight in healthcare or managed care
• Experience leading staff and cross-functional teams
• Ability to develop tailored strategies and lead structured provider meetings
• Proven track record in performance management including quality assessment and improvement planning
• Familiarity with budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation

Responsibilities

• Develops account management strategies tailored to provider size, membership, utilization, and relationship needs.
• Leads structured joint operating and performance review meetings with providers, focusing on priorities and data-driven decisions.
• Establishes and runs a structured performance management model covering quality, access, utilization, and regulatory compliance.
• Sets provider-specific performance objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Manages team matters, staffing, budgeting, mentoring, and professional development.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to align goals with the mission and vision.
