Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Manager, Provider Relations and Performance Management to drive provider engagement and robust performance oversight.

You will lead account management strategies, structured reviews, and a comprehensive performance model aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a high-performing team, escalating provider risks, and collaborating with senior management to set strategic directions.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in provider relations, account management, and performance oversight.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading, supervising and/or managing staff.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional groups.
• Experience in performance management including quality assessment, compliance, and improvement planning.
• Experience with large, complex provider networks and multi-faceted operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops tailored account management strategies and leads joint operating and performance review meetings.
• Oversees a comprehensive performance management model aligned with organizational goals.
• Escalates provider risks and manages routine and team matters at a senior level.
• Manages staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborates with executive management to set goals aligned with the company mission.
