Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking a Utility-Scale Power & Renewables Project Manager to own the commercial, contractual, financial, and administrative success of assigned projects from turnover through closeout. You will partner with Field Operations to anticipate risks, protect profitability, and build strong customer relationships.

This on-site leadership role requires experience in heavy civil, solar, BESS, substation, and underground infrastructure projects in the utility-scale market.

Qualifications

• Experience managing heavy civil, solar, BESS, substation, transmission, or underground infrastructure construction projects in the utility-scale market.
• Demonstrated command of contracts, estimating handoffs, project budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and change management.
• Ability to read construction plans, specifications, scope letters, and pricing schedules and translate them into execution requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from estimating turnover through execution, customer acceptance, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary commercial and contractual point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Own project budgets, cost codes, commitments, and reliable estimates at completion.
