Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) seeks a Manager, Utility Engagement to lead a portfolio of utility members and prospects, driving engagement, retention, recruitment, and growth. You will develop account plans, build strategic relationships across leadership, regulatory, and program areas, and align engagement with SEPA’s research, policy, and event initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional background.
• Minimum of five years in utility engagement, membership, business development, or strategic account management.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships within electric utilities or energy-sector organizations.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful membership strategies.
• Ability to present value propositions and engage senior leaders and decision-makers effectively.
• Experience with a CRM platform such as Salesforce.

Responsabilités

• Implement and execute SEPA’s membership strategy for utility members and prospects.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of utility accounts with differentiated engagement strategies.
• Develop and execute account engagement plans to strengthen relationships and retention.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing member journey activities for a value-driven experience.
• Establish relationships across leadership within member organizations.
• Coordinate cross-functional support to align engagement with SEPA programs and events.
• Guide executive engagement and renewal strategies to mitigate retention risk.
• Conduct regular check-ins to assess satisfaction and capture member insights.
• Monitor engagement trends and identify opportunities to improve portfolio performance.
• Support revenue diversification through dues strategy and non-dues initiatives.
• Lead recruitment activities for utility prospects to balance portfolio.
