Hitachi Energy Ltd. in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an Account Director, Utility to lead and grow a strategic utility relationship in the region.

You will serve as the primary link between the customer and Hitachi Energy, coordinating resources across business units to deliver value throughout the customer lifecycle. You will work with utility executives, operations, and technical teams to understand priorities, identify opportunities, and support delivery of grid modernization and reliability

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in a technical (engineering) or business discipline required; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in customer-facing sales, preferably within the energy industry
• Experience working with a variety of products, customers, market segments, or geographic regions
• Proven ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization
• Experience in customer relationship management, sales, and problem resolution
• Ability to motivate, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Sound business acumen with an understanding of customer and market dynamics

Responsabilités

• Manage the overall relationship with a strategic utility account and serve as the primary customer contact
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customer stakeholders, including senior executives
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that align customer priorities with available solutions and services
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support customer initiatives and business growth opportunities
• Identify, prioritize, and advance opportunities that increase customer value and account growth
• Facilitate complex commercial discussions and negotiations with customer organizations
• Monitor customer satisfaction, address significant issues, and support timely resolution of concerns
• Maintain awareness of customer strategies, industry trends, market developments, and emerging business needs
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
