HITACHI ENERGY USA INC is seeking an Account Director, Utility to steward a strategic utility account and drive value across the customer lifecycle from Raleigh, NC. You will coordinate resources across engineering, sales, and project teams to deliver grid modernization solutions and long-term infrastructure planning.

The role requires a strong background in customer-facing sales, 10+ years of experience, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Work authorization to operate in the United States is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical (engineering) or business discipline is required.
MBA preferred for advanced leadership roles.
10+ years of relevant experience in customer-facing sales or account management.
Experience in a matrixed organization and in sales, relationship management, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall relationship with a strategic utility account and serve as the primary customer contact.
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligning customer priorities with Hitachi Energy solutions.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to support customer initiatives and growth opportunities.
Facilitate complex commercial discussions and negotiations with customer organizations.
Monitor satisfaction and address issues, ensuring timely resolution and ongoing value delivery.
