Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Account Manager to support data center accounts, building and expanding relationships, managing pipelines, and leading strategic account planning to deliver the company’s product and service portfolio for grid reliability and data center innovation.

You will travel up to 30% to engage with customers across the US, define growth targets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to win opportunities, while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have work authorization to work in the United States.
• Master's or bachelor's degree.
• 10 years' experience in technical Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and/or Marketing.
• Experience working with clients in the Data Center market.
• Experience building and managing customer account relationships.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of sales strategies by providing customer business priorities and long-term plans.
• Define and propose sales targets and growth margins for assigned accounts.
• Follow a structured process to support achievement of sales targets.
• Lead the development and implementation of account plans.
• Design executive relationship strategies and coverage plans for assigned accounts.
• Prioritize opportunities and identify targets for solution elements within account plans.
• Establish and develop customer relationships based on defined account strategies.
• Monitor competitor activity within assigned accounts and support implementation of response strategies.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
