Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Senior Advisor, Transmission Strategy and Regulatory Engagement. You will review investment analyses, prepare data and filings, and represent Eversource with ISO New England and NEPOOL. You will lead planning efforts and develop policy positions for regulatory proceedings.

The role requires strong communication, deep understanding of transmission planning, and the ability to translate technical findings into strategic guidance for state, regional, and federal forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of related experience.
• Experience testifying in state or federal regulatory proceedings is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review analyses of proposed transmission investments and prepare data, reports, and filings.
• Represent Eversource at ISO New England and NEPOOL committees.
• Lead regional transmission planning efforts and interpret study results for strategic insights.
• Develop policy positions and advocacy materials; work with stakeholders to reach consensus.
