Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer, ISO Policy and Economic Analysis, Transmission, to lead engineering and economic analyses of the clean energy transition in New England. The role requires coordinating complex data, modeling the transmission grid, and developing policy positions for regulatory and stakeholder processes.

The candidate will provide technical and strategic insights, engage in state and regional forums, and may testify in proceedings.

Formación

• 5–8 years of related experience
• Experience testifying in regulatory proceedings helpful
• PLEXOS experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Perform engineering power flow, economic capacity expansion, production cost, and probabilistic modeling analyses of the New England system.
• Oversee consultants and perform studies independently; provide strategic insights from analyses.
• Provide SME input to procurement evaluation teams on transmission network and interconnection issues.
• Analyze federal, regional, and state policy proposals for impact on customers and company.
• Develop policy positions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to reach consensus on strategy.
• Create analytical products, visualizations, and advocacy materials to support policy recommendations.
• Represent Eversource in NEPOOL committees and other regional forums; may serve as expert witness in regulatory proceedings.
