Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategy and Economic Analysis to support Transmission and the clean energy transition in New England. You will develop and run energy market simulations, analyze outcomes, and inform policy-driven initiatives in collaboration with engineers and analysts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5–8 years of related experience, with strong analytics, communication skills, and knowledge of ISO-NE markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline, or four years of equivalent experience.
• Five to eight years related experience in energy/transmission analysis or modeling.
• Experience in energy market analysis, energy contract negotiation, power system modeling, or transmission planning/policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot, document, and maintain energy market and capacity expansion models (PLEXOS).
• Analyze, graph, and document results of energy market simulations.
• Research policies and studies impacting transmission business and modeling assumptions.
• Support other groups by providing data, outputs, or knowledge from the transmission domain.
