Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions UK is seeking a Business Development Manager in the United States to drive new revenue and manage end-to-end deals in translation and localization services. You will prospect, qualify, and close opportunities, building a strong client pipeline and aligning solutions with client needs.

You will serve as the primary contact for clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value language solutions and ensure customer success across the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years quota-carrying B2B sales or business development.
• Experience selling professional services, technology, AI services, or complex solutions.
• Full sales cycle experience: outbound prospecting, discovery, proposals, pricing, negotiation, handoff.
• Experience in translation or localization industry preferred; language technology valued.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close net-new business within a U.S. territory or market segment.
• Own full sales cycle from target research to contract execution and handoff to delivery.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline via outbound prospecting, referrals, events, and marketing.
• Present solutions, negotiate pricing, and manage objections to close opportunities.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce data and coordinate post-sale handoff to project management.
