Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join the Professional Tools North America sales team in Madison, WI. You will drive growth for RIDGID and Greenlee lines by engaging with customers, conducting demonstrations, and collaborating with regional teams to meet business objectives.

Ideal candidates have business acumen, consultative selling skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with distributors and end users while managing forecasts and strategic sales plans.

Qualifications

• Experience with distribution channels in electrical, industrial, and plumbing markets.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution or equivalent; or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Proven success developing and measuring territory business plans that drive incremental sales growth.
• Experience in strategic selling, solution-based offerings, and new product commercialization.
• Experience building relationships with distributor partners and end users.
• Experience developing monthly and annual sales forecasts.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth of utility market sales through direct engagement with customers and collaboration with Territory Managers.
• Provide guidance to regional Territory Managers; conduct product demonstrations, training, and technical support.
• Lead strategic new product and solution sales initiatives to expand market opportunities.
• Develop, present, and execute annual business plans for sales growth.
• Develop and manage monthly/annual forecasts and monitor market trends.
• Maintain strong distributor/end-user relationships and support training initiatives.
