Job summary

PPG is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales targets across specified markets in the United States. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and grow dealer and MSO relationships, focusing on collision body shop and refinishing markets, with about 25% overnight travel.

You should have experience in automotive refinishing, a bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license to manage a broad territory with PPG’s products and services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven track record in growing sales with validated skills at consultative selling.
• Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent work experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales plans for sales growth and main sales goals while managing costs, receivables, and expenses within targets.
• Understand end customer requirements and PPG's regional strategy and challenges.
• Sell paint systems and sundry items of PPG Refinish brands in the geographic area through distribution.
• Manage distributor relationships including sales, people development, and training.
