Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales and service targets across the Asheville-NC, Anderson-SC, and Greenville/Spartanburg-SC markets.

You will develop customer relationships within the collision repair and refinishing segment, manage distributors, and work toward regional targets. You will rely on your automotive refinishing experience, consultative selling skills, and CRM proficiency to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years proven track record in growing sales with consultative selling.
• Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales plans and manage costs and receivables.
• Develop understanding of customer requirements and regional strategy.
• Sell paint systems and sundry items through distribution.
• Manage distributor relationships including training and receivables.
• Build relationships with dealers, MSO, and collision centers.
• Target and develop new business within the territory.
• Travel up to 25% overnight as needed.
• Present and demo value propositions to prospects and customers.
• Maintain and use CRM to track opportunities.
