Job summary

PPG Industries Automotive Refinish is seeking a Territory Manager to lead sales in the Southern California region. You will report to the Regional Manager, drive business targets, and execute plans aligned with regional, zone, and national goals while upholding our corporate values.

Responsibilities include ensuring EH&S compliance, guiding field trials with the Business Development Manager, improving regional financial performance, expanding market share, maintaining up-to-date application

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience with 5+ years proven track record in growing sales with validated skills at consultative selling.
• Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EH&S compliance by following safe work guidelines and educating customers on safe use of PPG products.
• Attend field trials with the Business Development Manager and demonstrate correct product application.
• Improve regional financial performance by developing short- and medium-term business strategies.
• Increase market share by developing new business opportunities for the region.
• Maintain technical and practical knowledge of application techniques and equipment for PPG refinish and competitors.
• Collect samples/information from customers to support problem analysis.
• Identify opportunities for new products and better value delivery with the regional team.
