Job summary

Factory Motor Parts Co in Maryland is seeking a proactive Outside Sales professional to manage and grow assigned customer accounts in the field. You will develop sustainable relationships, prospect new customers, present solutions, negotiate terms, and close profitable sales.

The role requires excellent communication, strong computer skills, travel to cover the customer base, and the ability to forecast sales and collaborate with marketing to meet targets.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years outside sales experience.
• 1–3 years business development experience.
• Experience in the assigned sales channel or customer base preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow current customer sales through a variety of sales activities.
• Develop new customers by prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing profitable sales.
• Deliver sales presentations and close sales with existing and new customers.
• Monitor customer activities and develop action plans to meet needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to grow profitable sales.
• Participate in budgeting by forecasting sales and planning.
• Communicate sales activities, forecasts, accounts and challenges to management.
• Develop and nurture strong customer relationships.
• Introduce and conduct training with clients on new parts or products.
• Utilize Sales Point to maximize sales and revenues at the customer level.
