Job summary

ECKART America, part of the ALTANA group, seeks a seasoned Field Technical Specialist in coatings to drive growth in Automotive and Industrial Coatings markets. You will leverage a strong technical presence, maintain CRM data, and coordinate with key account teams to identify sales opportunities across assigned territories.

The role requires extensive travel (60%+), collaboration with Marketing, Lab, and Customer Service, and a proven ability to develop technical solutions for customers.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years’ field technical experience in Automotive or Industrial Coatings.
Established contacts within Automotive or Industrial Coatings industry including major coatings companies.

Responsibilities

Drive profitable growth through market research and technical sales calls.
Monitor market segments and develop market intelligence.
Prepare reports and maintain CRM with opportunities status.
Support new product launches with coordination and training.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry meetings.
