Job summary

DAT Freight & Analytics is seeking a Technical Recruiter for a 9-month contract to partner with Product and Technology teams during a growth phase. You will own the full-cycle recruitment for technical roles, guide hiring managers, and build diverse, high-quality pipelines while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

You will leverage data, market insights, and modern sourcing techniques to attract top talent, manage offers, and continuously improve our hiring processes in a hybrid Portland

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, focusing on technical roles.
• Fast-paced, high-growth environment experience, preferably in tech or SaaS.
• Technical fluency: understands tech stacks and product/team structures.
• Deep expertise in modern sourcing: LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, GitHub, and engaging pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Product, Engineering, Data, and other technical roles.
• Consult with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and interview strategies.
• Use data/market insights to guide hiring decisions in a competitive market.
• Create a world-class candidate experience with clear communication and timely feedback.
• Manage offers and closing of top talent with empathy and expertise.
• Improve hiring processes, interview structures, and feedback loops.
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure a strong candidate experience and pipeline visibility.
