Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years with functional ingredients.
• Experience closing deals in confectionery, bakery or condiments.
• Technical degree in food science or chemical engineering.
• Experience carrying a sales quota in an early-stage ingredient business.

Responsibilities

• Own a named account list; prospect, qualify, close, reorder.
• Carry a number and report against it weekly.
• Negotiate pricing, volume commitments and development agreements.
• Map customer formulation and process constraints.
• Direct application trials and interpret results for customers.
• Quantify customer benefits and manage pilots.
