Job summary

Plantible is seeking an experienced Commercial Development professional to own a named account list, carry a sales quota, and drive growth for our plant-based ingredients in the US market. You will negotiate pricing, volume commitments and development agreements while translating customer needs into practical formulation and product specifications.

You will work in our Austin, TX office as part of a small, entrepreneurial team, collaborating with R&D to align customer requirements with product

Qualifications

• Experience selling functional ingredients to confectionery, bakery, condiments or CPG accounts.
• Carried a quota in an early-stage ingredient business and grew a book from early revenue toward scale.

Responsibilities

• Own a named account list, prospect, qualify, close and reorder.
• Carry a sales number and report against it weekly.
• Negotiate pricing, volume commitments and development agreements.
• Translate customer requirements into product development and specification insights.
• Drive BD and product innovation by feeding customer needs back to development.
