Plantible Foods in Vista, California seeks a Technical Business Development Manager to own a named account list, drive revenue, and report to the Head of Commercial Development. You will decide what to run with our R&D bench and interpret results for customers and the business.

This standalone role blends sales, value translation, and product innovation, requiring a track record of closing functional ingredient deals and managing early-stage growth without relying on a marketing team.

Qualifications

• Sold functional ingredients into confectionery, bakery or condiments, and personally closed the deals you claim.
• Carried a quota in an early-stage ingredient business and grew a book from early revenue toward scale.
• Command of product development concepts and customer-facing technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own a named account list. Prospect, qualify, close, reorder.
• Carry a number and report against it weekly.
• Negotiate pricing, volume commitments and development agreements.
