Job summary

Charles IT is seeking a knowledgeable Technical Client Advisor to partner with assigned clients, translating business goals into technology strategy while guiding technical challenges and long-term IT planning. The role requires strong communication with executives, collaboration across teams, and meticulous organization.

The ideal candidate will build lasting client relationships, serve as the primary contact for strategic guidance and escalations, and influence technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT consulting, account management, or technical leadership.
• Experience presenting to C-suite and business leaders.
• Ability to translate business objectives into technology strategies.
• Certifications such as MCSA, VCP, or CCNA preferred.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Willingness to pass background check and have a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technology advisor, aligning client IT strategies with business objectives.
• Communicate technology recommendations, risks, and strategic initiatives to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Assess client environments to identify opportunities for improved security, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain IT roadmaps, lead strategic business reviews, oversee technology budgets, and support compliance initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic guidance, issue resolution, and escalations.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to identify client needs, define project scope, and prioritize technology initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to internal team members while promoting collaboration across departments.
• Ensure client technology strategies align with industry best practices, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
