Job summary

Charles IT is seeking a knowledgeable CMMC Client Advisor to guide assigned clients through compliance programs, map CMMC/NIST requirements to business objectives, and translate complex standards into actionable recommendations.

You will partner with client stakeholders and internal technical teams to assess gaps, develop remediation roadmaps, and lead engagements with executive leadership, while maintaining trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT consulting, cybersecurity, or MSP roles.
• Experience translating compliance standards into business actions.
• Direct client engagement with senior stakeholders is required.
• Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and related frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on CMMC alignment with business objectives and controls.
• Communicate risks and remediation recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
• Assess client environments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain compliance roadmaps and remediation milestones.
• Lead client meetings and drive progress with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize remediation efforts.
