Job summary

Charles IT seeks a knowledgeable Technical Client Advisor to align client IT strategies with business goals and technology roadmaps. You will translate business needs into technical guidance, manage escalations, and participate in long-term IT planning.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively with C-suite and technical teams, develops roadmaps, and drives initiatives across departments while promoting best practices and security compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT consulting, account management, or tech leadership.
• Experience with strategic IT planning and budget management.
• Strong communication with executives and teams.
• Familiarity with MSP environments preferred.
• Certifications such as MCSA, VCP, or CCNA valued.
• Knowledge of ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, VMware and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technology advisor aligning IT with business goals.
• Communicate recommendations, risks, and initiatives to stakeholders.
• Assess client environments for security, scalability, and performance.
• Develop IT roadmaps, lead reviews, manage budgets, support compliance.
• Build strong client relationships as primary contact for guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define project scope and priorities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Ensure technology strategies meet industry standards and regs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
