Job summary

Withum is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead tax engagements across high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries, and corporate clients. Based in one of several offices, you will supervise staff, mentor teams, and guide planning, compliance, and client relations.

You’ll collaborate with partners on strategy, research complex tax issues, and implement planning that preserves wealth while integrating technology and firm initiatives. CPA or MST is required with 8+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA, JD, LLM or MST credentials are required.
• Minimum 8+ years of professional services experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead review of complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries, gifts and estates.
• Conduct advanced tax research and draft memoranda on complex issues.
• Design and implement tax planning strategies to optimize wealth preservation and succession planning.
• Manage client relationships through proactive communication and responsive service.
• Mentor and supervise staff, fostering development and accountability.
• Collaborate with partners on client engagements, thought leadership, and business development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with evolving federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Contribute to process improvement and leverage technology to increase efficiency.
