Job summary

Withum's Tax Services Group is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead engagements from planning to completion for high-net-worth individuals across a national footprint. You will supervise staff, mentor junior professionals, and cultivate client relationships across offices in CA, NY, and NJ.

You'll advise on tax planning, research issues, and implement strategies to optimize wealth preservation and succession planning, while staying current on evolving laws and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA, JD, LLM or MST required.
• Minimum 8+ years of professional services experience.
• Industry knowledge in Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead reviews of complex tax returns and ensure accuracy with planning goals.
• Perform advanced tax research and draft memoranda on complex issues.
• Design and implement tax planning strategies for wealth preservation and succession.
• Manage client relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Mentor and supervise staff, fostering development and teamwork.
• Collaborate with partners on engagements, thought leadership, and business development.
