Based in one of several offices including Whippany, NJ, this position emphasizes planning, execution, and mentoring, while staying ahead of federal, state, and local tax developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA/JD/LLM/MST preferred
• 8+ years of professional services experience required
• Industry knowledge in Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth sector a plus
• Demonstrated strategic leadership
• Strong relationship management skills
• Ability to lead and mentor staff

Responsibilities

• Lead review of complex high‑net‑worth individual, fiduciary, gift and estate tax returns.
• Conduct advanced tax research and draft technical memoranda.
• Design and implement tax planning strategies for wealth preservation, charitable giving, and succession planning.
• Manage client relationships through proactive communication and strategic consultations.
• Mentor and supervise staff, fostering technical development and teamwork.
• Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on engagements and business development.
• Ensure compliance with evolving federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Contribute to process improvement using technology and best practices.
• Engage in firm-wide initiatives and culture-building efforts.
