Job summary

Withum seeks a Tax Senior Manager to lead complex tax engagements across high-net-worth individuals, fiduciary, and corporate clients. You will supervise staff, mentor teams, and build relationships with clients while aligning planning with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
• CPA, JD, LLM or MST required.
• Minimum of 8+ years of professional services experience required.
• Industry knowledge within the Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth sector a plus.
• Demonstrated strategic leadership. Defining market opportunities, creating a strategic plan, process and deployment capabilities.
• Demonstrated process creation. Adept at developing and deploying best of breed business development and relationship management practices.
• Outstanding multitasking skills and organization.
• Strong verbal communication. Demonstrate clear verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review of complex high-net-worth individual, fiduciary, gift and estate and other tax returns, ensuring accuracy and alignment with planning.
• Conduct advanced tax research and draft technical memoranda on complex issues.
• Design and implement tax planning strategies to optimize wealth preservation and succession planning.
• Serve as trusted advisor, manage client relationships with proactive communication and consultations.
• Mentor and supervise staff, foster development and teamwork.
• Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on engagements, thought leadership, and business development.
• Ensure compliance with evolving federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Contribute to process improvement using technology and best practices.
• Engage in firm-wide initiatives including innovation projects and marketing.
