Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Talent, Learning and Development Manager to translate global talent strategy into disciplined delivery and practical business outcomes. The role leads end-to-end talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives, while coordinating sessions for senior and cross-functional audiences in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in talent management, leadership development or organisational development within a complex, global organisation.
• Demonstrated experience leading talent review and succession planning processes, including calibration facilitation and action follow-through.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with credibility when working with senior leaders and executive audiences.
• Strong programme leadership skills across strategy, design and hands-on execution.
• Experience designing or delivering leadership and learning solutions with clear objectives and evaluation.
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills; able to influence without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to turn complex information into clear decisions and messages.
• Comfort using data and technology to improve talent and learning decisions, learner experience and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Translate the global talent and learning strategy into disciplined delivery and practical business outcomes.
• Own end-to-end execution of core talent review and succession planning activities, including guidance and reporting.
• Facilitate leadership and learning sessions for senior audiences, creating an engaging environment and clear decisions.
• Lead operational delivery of leadership development programmes and learning initiatives, coordinating scope, stakeholders, content and logistics.
• Design and deliver executive development and coaching solutions, including needs analysis and vendor coordination.
• Help shape and deliver the firm’s AI learning agenda with subject-matter experts.
• Provide programme leadership for the Leadership Academy portfolio with governance and learner experience.
• Use data and external insight to improve solutions and senior stakeholder updates.
• Build trusted relationships with HR partners and business leaders across regions.
