Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors seeks a dynamic Head of AI to shape the firm’s AI and technology strategy. You will partner with executive leaders and technology teams to drive AI-enabled transformation across products and services, ensuring ethical, secure, and scalable implementation.

You will report to the CEO and join the senior leadership team, guiding risk, governance, and data management while championing innovation and client-focused AI applications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in AI strategy and transformation with related technology roles, including leadership.
• Proven ability to lead AI-driven initiatives and partner with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive AI and technology strategy aligned with firm goals.
• Lead AI-powered innovation initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies for business impact.
• Act as thought leader for AI, representing the function to internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI/technology team and establish governance and best practices.
