Job summary

Spear is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in New York to manage full-cycle recruitment, university partnerships, and recruitment platforms. You will serve as the primary contact for candidates, hiring managers, and vendors, ensuring a smooth staffing process across all open roles.

You’ll attract top talent, proactively resolve pipeline issues, and support data-driven decisions with reporting. Expect 24-hour posting, 24-hour candidate connections, and 8-hour response targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience in HR/Talent Acquisition or Recruitment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provide full life-cycle recruitment for all Spear open positions.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies including networking, referrals, direct sourcing, social media.
• Build talent pipelines through continuous sourcing and event attendance.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs for departments.
• Develop relationships with university career services staff and DPT programs.
• Oversee Lever system administration and training.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships with Lever, Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake and others.
• Produce weekly/monthly recruitment reports and turnover data.
• Train new hiring managers in onboarding and recruitment processes.
• Post jobs within 24 hours of opening notice.
• Connect viable candidates with hiring managers within 24 hours of screening.
• Respond to inquiries within 8 business hours.
