Job summary

UNKNOWN is seeking an experienced HR Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment efforts in New York. You will collaborate with department managers to draft job descriptions, identify candidate pools, post jobs, and conduct interviews to fill roles efficiently.

Candidates should have an associate degree with HR experience or a bachelor’s in HR and relevant work history; a master’s or HR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree + 3 years HR/admin experience or Bachelor's + 1 year HR experience.
• Master's degree in HR Management or related field preferred.
• HR certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong communication and negotiation.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
• Collaborates with department managers to draft job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Identifies and implements recruiting methods and strategies based on role and industry.
• Performs job posting and advertisement processes.
• Building relationships with key organizations and community groups.
• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
• Schedules interviews; prepares interview questions and materials.
• Determines candidate fit for positions.
• Assists with interviews with managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborates on offer process, salary ranges, incentives, and start dates.
• Ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Attends job fairs and recruitment events; manages logistics.
• Reviews new hire files for completeness; follow-up as needed.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
