Job summary

Hinton Transportation Investments, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive full-cycle recruitment and maintain recruitment processes that align with business goals. You will partner with hiring managers, manage the ATS, and ensure a positive candidate experience while upholding compliance.

The role emphasizes strategy support, process improvements, and collaboration across People Operations to support profitability and a strong company culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, business or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, recruiting and/or human resources.
• Experience in a transportation and/or distribution industries preferred.
• Ability to understand and document needs of stakeholders in an unbiased and accurate way.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to improve outcomes in talent acquisition or related human resources functions.
• Knowledge of talent acquisition practices and strategies, strong research ability.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Recruitment
• Maintain the company’s job description library in partnership with Organizational Development.
• Guide hiring managers through job requisition process and prepare interviews.
• Perform applicant screening and participate in interviews.
• Provide managers with compensation data to inform decisions.
• Enforce standard offer process for equal hiring practices.
• Plan and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
• Utilize ATS and job boards for postings and management.
• Coordinate interview availability between managers and candidates.
• Ensure compliance with EEOC, ADA, etc. and educate staff.
