Job summary

Assisted Student Transportation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to connect people with meaningful opportunities and build strong teams. You will own recruiting strategy from requisition through offer, coordinate pre-employment steps, and hand off to onboarding, delivering a consistent, candidate-focused process.

You will independently evaluate candidates, document hiring recommendations for managers, and maintain pipelines while representing the company at events and community

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, management, or related field plus 3–5 years recruiting experience.
Experience recruiting high-volume hourly, part-time staff across multiple locations.
Strong communication, organization, discretion, problem-solving, and collaborative follow-through.

Responsibilities

Lead recruiting strategy and execution with hiring managers to meet staffing priorities and timelines.
Conduct and document initial phone screens and participate in onsite interviews as needed.
Coordinate pre-employment steps: background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding handoff.
Monitor recruiting KPIs and contribute to improvements in speed, consistency, and new-hire readiness.
