Mortenson is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist or Talent Acquisition Specialist to act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, driving staffing plans and recruitment excellence. The role spans sourcing, selection, offer decisions, and external resource management, with a focus on speed and quality of hire.

The position emphasizes partnership with business groups, ongoing staffing strategy, and continuous improvement of sourcing methods.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
Minimum four years recruiting/HR experience or combination of higher education and experience.
Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Serve as Customer Relationship Manager for assigned business groups.
Drive results against staffing goals with speed and quality of hire.
Own and refine staffing priorities aligned to the business.
Design and drive sourcing initiatives to attract top talent.
Lead weekly customer relationship meetings and provide staffing reports.
Own full-cycle recruiting including sourcing and staffing positions.
Partner with hiring managers to define and execute recruitment strategies.
Lead negotiation and management of external recruiting resources.
Own offer recommendations with hiring managers.
Develop and evolve talent sourcing strategies (direct recruiting, career fairs, digital sourcing).
