Job summary

StarCare Specialty Health System is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Human Resources team on-site in Texas. The role oversees the full recruitment lifecycle, partners with managers, and coordinates onboarding for new hires while ensuring compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.

You will source and screen applicants, refine job descriptions, post advertisements, and track recruitment metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• Two years of recruiting experience or equivalent.
• Experience with UKG Ready preferred (HRIS).
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of recruitment through candidate selection, sourcing, screening, interviews, and timely communication.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs and refine job descriptions.
• Develop, post, and maintain job advertisements across platforms; attract qualified pools.
• Coordinate interview logistics and communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Serve as primary contact for selected candidates during onboarding and ensure documentation and screenings are complete.
• Maintain HRIS records, track candidate progress, and update workflow stages.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and labor market trends to inform planning.
• Represent StarCare at job fairs and events to build pipelines and employer brand.
