Job summary

York County Government is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the recruiting strategy and oversee the end-to-end hiring process. This exempt role in the Human Resources Department focuses on developing job postings, consulting with hiring managers, and shaping interview practices to meet staffing objectives.

You will coordinate with compensation, manage onboarding, and participate in outreach to diverse networks to strengthen the candidate pipeline and employer branding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration or related discipline.
• Three (3) years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition or related field.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• SHRM-CP /SHRM-SCP or IPMA-CP / IPMA-SCP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates job qualifications, descriptions and screening criteria with hiring teams and interview panels.
• Sourcing, recruiting, and evaluating candidates; guiding the interview and selection process.
