Job summary

Trescal Inc is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead our talent acquisition initiatives in Detroit. This in-office role partners with business leaders to attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent across functions.

The position offers an opportunity to expand into Recruiting, Training and Development with scope for succession planning and workforce planning; in-office presence is required five days a week as part of a strategic HR partnership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience with focus on talent acquisition.
• Experience leading full-cycle recruiting across functions.
• Knowledge of employment laws, FLSA, affirmative action, HR compliance.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, and reporting tools.
• Experience developing and delivering training and leadership programs.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all pre- and post-employment processes including background checks and onboarding coordination.
• Develop strategic recruitment techniques with management for qualified candidates via various sourcing channels.
• Consult with leaders on job descriptions, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
• Provide market data to design sourcing strategies and monitor recruiting metrics.
• Recruit and interview candidates, reference checks, and close offers.
• Plan employer branding activities and employee retention initiatives.
• Maintain job descriptions and job architecture; ensure FLSA compliance.
• Collaborate with HR leadership on organizational development projects.
