Salesforce is seeking an Account Director for Tableau State Gov in Texas. You will lead strategic engagements with state and local government customers, managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and presenting a compelling value proposition at the executive level.

You will collaborate across product, support, and security teams to ensure customer success, deliver on revenue targets, and drive long-term partnerships in the public sector.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience.
• Experience in a matrixed environment with multiple partners.
• Strong drive, urgency, and belief in Tableau's mission.
• Ability to address customer data challenges and earn trust.
• Solution selling mindset: plan, articulate value, navigate customer complexities.

Responsabilités

• Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive satisfaction at assigned accounts.
• Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account.
• Coordinate internal resources to meet customer needs.
• Assist with account planning and coordinate with other sales resources for alignment.
• Manage complex sales cycles and present value to C-level executives.
• Define and complete territory/account sales plans to meet/exceed quotas.
• Develop and manage sales pipeline across many transactions.
