Job summary

Briggs & Stratton, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Supply Planner to ensure timely supply of resources for monthly IBP and demand-balancing across planning horizons.

The role requires a degree or equivalent, 3+ years in planning/analytics, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards and MS Office is expected; CPIM is a plus. This on-site position supports multiple plants and partners in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of three years in planning, production planning, forecasting and supply chain analytics.
• Minimum of three years working in planning tools and software.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to present in front of small to medium groups.
• Ability to work with multiple business functions and balance conflicting priorities.
• Advanced analytical and statistical abilities including MAPEs, forecast error, bias, safety stock calculations.

Responsibilities

• Plan resources to meet anticipated demand.
• Prepare monthly supply plans and analyses for IBP review.
• Escalate and resolve issues in the monthly supply cycle with recommendations.
• Develop and implement process improvements in supply management.
• Present data and facilitate dialogue to deliver supply plans.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters across plants and businesses.
• Develop and maintain master planning policies and procedures.
