As a Supply Planner your goal is to adequately supply all resources necessary to support the supply of products and services to meet customer needs in accordance with the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process calendar. You’ll also validate balancing of supply with demand over the short and long-term planning horizon.

You Will Do This By

• Effectively planning the resources required to meet anticipated demand
• Preparing monthly supply plans and appropriate metric analyses for approval and review in the monthly supply review (future IBP) process meetings
• Ensuring that issues during the monthly supply cycle are cross functionally reviewed, resolved or escalated with recommendations and alternatives for closure
• Identifying, developing and implementing process improvement plans to optimize the supply management process to meet company objectives
• Presenting data, conducting analysis and facilitates dialog across key stakeholder groups to deliver the supply plan to meet the unconstrained demand plan
• Establishing and ensuring that there is an active and effective process in all plants and businesses for maintaining accuracy of all planning parameters
• Developing, updating and maintaining all master planning policies, procedures and work instructions to meet current requirements and to deliver target business results

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in related field OR equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of three years planning, production planning, forecasting and supply chain analytics
• Minimum of three years working in planning tools and software
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Must be comfortable with ability to make presentations in front of small to medium size groups
• Ability to work with multiple business functions and find balance in conflicting priorities
• Advanced analytical and statistical abilities including concepts such as standard deviation, forecast error, bias, safety stock calculations and mean average percent error (MAPE)
• Expert computer skills with Microsoft office suite of products, Google Applications, and other software associated with assigned work
• Knowledge and experience working in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
