Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Planning Analyst to drive Integrated Business Planning by delivering data-driven forecasts and inventory strategies. You will partner with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and Finance to align demand with supply and optimize working capital.

The role emphasizes developing planning models, monitoring inventory health, and supporting data-driven decisions across the enterprise. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, analytics, operations, or a related field.
• Two+ years in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, procurement analytics, operations analysis, or related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and model development.
• Experience analyzing large data sets and translating findings into business recommendations.
• Working knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, replenishment, lead times, safety stock, and service-level concepts.
• Understanding of inventory carrying costs, working capital, and the financial impact of planning decisions.
• Experience with ERP, planning, or business intelligence systems.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain forecasts at product, category, and location levels.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; document root causes and corrective actions.
• Analyze inventory investment, turns, aging, and service-level performance for optimization.
• Develop and maintain inventory segmentation and safety stock policies.
• Coordinate planning analyses across multiple locations to optimize inventory position.
• Translate forecasts and inventory strategies into actionable purchasing and replenishment plans.
• Prepare demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial analyses for IBP; identify risks and opportunities.
