Job summary

Bechtel is sourcing a procurement specialist for its Clay, NY project. You will form bid packages, issue bid requests, and negotiate terms with suppliers to secure purchase orders for materials and equipment.

The role requires coordinating with Engineering and Bechtel teams to ensure supplier performance and compliance with PO requirements. Experience in procurement and supplier negotiations is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with procurement processes and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Engineering to assist and guide material requisitions for procurement of materials and equipment.
• Forms bid packages and issues bid requests; coordinates bidders' questions and proposals.
• Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations to award.
