Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a State Government Affairs Director in Austin, TX to lead integrated state government affairs, advocacy, and stakeholder strategies that advance Dow's business objectives while protecting its license to operate.

You will influence senior leaders, translate policy developments into actionable strategies, and guide implementation across Dow sites and partners. A minimum of 10 years in public policy and a bachelor’s degree or military equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years in public policy and/or government advocacy.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated state government affairs strategies aligned with Dow's priorities.
• Build relationships with governors, legislators, and economic development officials.
• Advise business/site leaders on legislative, regulatory, and policy developments; prepare executive briefs.
