Dow Inc. seeks a State Government Affairs Director in Austin, TX to lead integrated state government affairs and advocacy efforts.

You will translate complex policy developments into strategic actions, advising senior leaders and influencing policymakers to protect and advance Dow's operating license and growth objectives. You will build robust relationships with governors, legislators and economic development officials, guiding Dow’s policy priorities across multiple states and sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above U.S. E5 or Canadian rank equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in public policy or government advocacy.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute integrated state government affairs, advocacy and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with governors, legislators and state agencies to advance Dow's interests.
• Advise senior leaders on legislative and regulatory developments and translate policy risks into business actions.
• Represent Dow before state legislatures, regulatory bodies and other government entities.
• Coordinate advocacy across Dow sites and external partners for unified policy priorities.
• Lead coalition-building efforts and shape policy positions to promote manufacturing competitiveness and growth.
