Dow seeks a State Government Affairs Director in Austin, TX to lead integrated state government affairs and advocacy efforts that advance Dow’s business objectives and protect its license to operate. You will translate complex policy issues into actionable strategies, advise senior leaders, and influence diverse stakeholders with credible messaging.

You will build a broad network with policymakers and stakeholders, coordinate advocacy across Dow sites, and guide implementation of policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience.
• 10+ years in public policy or government advocacy.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute state government affairs strategies aligned with Dow’s priorities.
• Build relationships with governors, legislators, and officials to advance Dow’s interests.
• Advise senior leaders on policy developments and translate risks into business strategies.
• Represent Dow before state legislatures and regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate advocacy across Dow sites, trade associations, NGOs, and consultants.
